Relationships: Internal & External
In the end, we are all tested by our ability to build outstanding relationships internally - between teams, functions, regions and geographies; understanding different needs, beliefs, concerns, opportunities, information sources and application - and with clients - mapping over to their world-view; gaining insight into their strategic setting, what their purpose and values are; understanding what worries them, what they value; considering their timelines and needs, and working out how we can help beyond the obvious, i.e. shift from a project approach to a program approach, becoming 'trusted advisor' rather than service provider.
Dattner Grant does not presume to have all the answers for every organisation. What we are exceptionally good at is identifying the best talent within an organsiation, modelling high-order skills, unpacking them and then training others. This takes the guesswork out of relationship management, both internally and externally.
